Tuition fees for the 2023/24 academic year are £9,000 per year for our undergraduate degree programmes (FdA, BA, and Top Up) and £10,500 for our postgraduate degree programmes (MA & MSc) – or £5,250 per year if studied on a part-time basis (over two years).
The amount of money you would be paying for a Backstage education can be very daunting. Don’t worry, we’ve written a handy breakdown of everything you do and don’t get for your fees!
UK students studying for their first undergraduate degree may be eligible to receive a tuition fee loan, as well as a maintenance loan to cover the cost of living while studying. You only start to pay back the tuition fee and maintenance loan once you have graduated and are earning over £27,295. Please apply for your financial support as soon as possible as it can take several months to process your application. If you have previously received funding to study at HE Level 4 or 5 then you may not be eligible for further student finance, but may qualify for a career development loan.
You can get funding for postgraduate study through loans, studentships, bursaries and grants - you might also get help from your employer.

As part of our commitment to access and widening participation, we offer a range of bursary and additional financial support for prospective students. There is also a hardship fund available to eligible students who experience financial crisis.
